M4Bank at Seamless Middle East 2026: multivendor payment software in focus

08.10.2026

M4Bank took part in Seamless Middle East 2026, held on September 22–24 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The event brought together banks, financial institutions, fintech companies, payment providers and technology vendors from across the region. We presented our core payment acceptance solutions — SoftPOS, SmartPOS and DirectPOS — and discussed current projects and technology requirements with banks, PSPs and fintech companies from the GCC region. One of the recurring topics during the event was multivendor payment software.

Banks and payment service providers increasingly operate heterogeneous terminal fleets or want the freedom to choose hardware from different manufacturers. Instead of building and maintaining separate payment applications for each device family, they are looking for software that can work across terminals from different vendors, including Aisino, SUNMI and others. This is exactly the approach behind M4Bank SmartPOS and DirectPOS solutions: payment software is not tied to a single terminal manufacturer, giving banks and PSPs more flexibility when selecting hardware, expanding their acquiring networks or introducing new terminal models.

M4Bank SoftPOS complements this approach by enabling contactless payment acceptance on Android smartphones without a dedicated payment terminal.

The conversations at Seamless Middle East confirmed the practical demand for flexible payment acceptance infrastructure in the GCC market — solutions that allow financial institutions to develop their acquiring services without locking themselves into a single hardware ecosystem.

We would like to thank everyone who visited the M4Bank stand and discussed their projects and payment technology requirements with our team in Dubai.
